Privacy policy

Morfall is designed to collect as little as possible. You can play as a guest without any account, and accounts only need a player name and a password — we never ask for your email, your real name or your phone number.
What we store
- Player name — the name you choose, shown in the public ranking.
- Password — stored as a one-way hash; nobody, including us, can read it.
- Game results — stages cleared, scores and times, used for your profile and the ranking.
- A login key — after you log in, a random secret stored in a cookie and in your device's local storage keeps you logged in.
- Guest mode — when a guest starts playing, we create an anonymous guest player (a generated name like SwiftFox, which you can change, and a random identifier stored on the device). Your results are saved with it and shown in the ranking under that name. No personal information is involved.
- Technical data — your IP address is used briefly to prevent abuse (too many login attempts or account creations) and is deleted within 24 hours. Standard server logs may be kept for a short time for security.
- Audience statistics — we use Google Analytics to count visits and see how the game is played (pages viewed, stages started and cleared, device type, approximate country). It uses a cookie / app storage identifier set by Google, without Google signals or ad personalisation. See Google's privacy policy.
- Feedback — if you send us a message from the game (idea, bug, comment), we keep it with your player name, your device type and your progress in the game, only to improve Morfall. It is never shown publicly. If your player is deleted, the message is kept without your name.
- Settings — music, sound, sensitivity and tutorial preferences stay on your device only.
Advertising
The mobile app shows ads provided by Google AdMob. Google may use device identifiers to show and measure ads, according to its own policy: policies.google.com/technologies/ads. The website version shows no ads.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your data. Your player name and results are public in the ranking; everything else stays private.
Your rights
You can change your player name at any time and delete your account (or your guest data) in Settings: all your data is erased immediately and permanently. Guest players who never clear a stage are deleted automatically after 3 months without playing. For any question, see the Contact page.
